At AVK, Health & Safety is our top priority which is why we’ve taken measures to protect our employees, client base and the public during the COVID-19 pandemic.
I would like to assure you that we have taken actions and put in place structures and procedures to allow us to continue the normal provision of our maintenance and project services to our customers during this difficult period. We are operating at a heightened level of emergency response preparedness and staying closely connected to recommendations from WHO and Public Health Authorities.
Our Critical Spares holding has been reviewed alongside our key Supply Chain Partners & Specialist 3rd Party Contractors to ensure our levels of service across all of our client’s portfolio are not impacted. We’re in a position across multiple branches and engineers’ locations to ensure enough spares are being held in segregated stock, and in addition, further purchases are being made to cover this unknown period of uncertainty.
Our business continuity plans enable us to manage unfolding developments related to COVID-19. We are prepared and are rolling out ever changing plans to ensure the continued safe operation of our facilities. AVK continues to employ all safety processes and procedures as normal. These and the ever-changing conditions will be continuously monitored and adapted as and when required.
Until further notice, all offices in Maidenhead, London, Clayton West & Dublin remain operational although most staff are working from their home locations as per government requirement. We have deployed IT and phone solutions across the business to allow you to contact us on the same numbers as normal.
For the foreseeable future we will be completing all scheduled work as planned, and our Field Service Engineers have been instructed regarding the risks and best practice in relation to COVID 19. This involves assessing any environment they attend is safe for them to work in, and as you would expect, empowering them to step back from any that are not.
Similarly, our Sales and projects teams, along with their internal team will continue to support customers with their projects to avoid creating future delays. We are happy to conduct face to face meetings via video conferences, and we are always available via the phone.
