AVK re-awarded FSQS accreditation and enter Global Framework agreement with one of the UK’s financial giants

AVK are delighted to announce the signing of a Global Framework Agreement with one of the UK’s largest financial institutions. The agreement sees AVK exclusively responsible for the supply, installation and ongoing maintenance of critical power systems on a number of sites across the UK and overseas. The contract is expected to last for over 3 years and has further scope for expansion during the tenure.

We are also pleased to announce we have achieved the Hellios FSQS accreditation for another year. This important achievement highlights our commitment to become a leading industry partner to the Financial sector, aligning ourselves with the essential and strict regulations that many organisations follow. Outages or downtime can be catastrophic in the banking and finance sectors….

Banks, trading floors and financial systems all over the world rely on continuous, reliable power to ensure their data continues to communicate even in the event of a mains failure. Banking and finance are hugely dependent on their data centres and cloud storage, and as more and more customers shift to dealing with their money online, losing access to that data can cause just as much loss in reputation as it can revenue.

“The agreement will see AVK deploy our solutions across a number of different venues for the client; from their flagship workspaces through to their own and co-located data centre spaces at home and abroad.” commented Sales Director Ben Pritchard.

“Power Protection is mission critical in finance, and this level of investment demonstrates just how seriously our client views their power reliability for their business and customers alike. The AVK team have worked hard to ensure each power system design offers a continuously reliable level of service across these varying spaces, and despite the deployment challenges each will present we’ll be able to deliver each system on time and budget.”

Managing Director Chris Pritchard also added “Having once again completed the detailed audit process and compliance assessment, we are pleased to have satisfied all requirements to become fully retained on the FSQS Supplier qualification System. We’ve been designing and deploying critical power solutions for the financial sector for a number of years, and we are trusted and relied upon to protect mission critical equipment for these important clients across the UK and Europe. Retaining the FSQS in an increasingly competitive market further demonstrates our commitment to meeting the rigorous standards expected by the financial sector.”
