Three months of careful preparation paid off over the weekend at William Morris House, Mitcham Data Centre, when £2.5 million of new uninterruptible power systems and standby power generation were successfully installed and implemented.

It is not everyday that we in the UK see the development of a new airport. By airport we mean Robin Hood International Airport in Doncaster.

AVK have just installed one of the largest generator installations in London. In total 4 x 2800KVA generators have been installed onto the roof of the newly built office development on the banks of the Thames.

Not only have Manchester United powered their way to the top of the Premiership league, but they also joined teams with AVK to provide power for their floodlights within the stadium.

AVK have just added a further 1000kVA generator to an existing installation of 2 x 1000kVA generators for a major European bank. The existing generators, switchgear and mimic were located in the basement, with the new 1000kVA generator located in the ground floor of a multi-storey car park.

AVK|SEG (UK) Ltd recently completed a major data centre project in West London using its low space low noise containerised generators.

When British Land decided to develop their site in Lime Street London they chose AVK|SEG (UK) Ltd to provide the standby generation.

AVK recently supplied a containerised 1000kVA generator to the new block at Lewisham Hospital.
